Attack of the Killer B's

bee Every once in a while while traveling, I get more than 4 words from Emma over the phone. Today: "Lauren and I are killer bees." That's good, I guess. "We can sting as many times as we want and it really hurts." Hmm, don't sting your Mother. "But, it feels REALLY good to us." Well then, by all means, sting away. Glad I'm not home.

Strange Requests

Kids are always good for them. Case in point, while performing some general foot maintenance I heard "Hey, great toenail clippings." After my expression of gratitude, "Mind if I take one?". I politely declined. I'm still wondering exactly what would have been done with the clipping had I given it up.

Meet Shadow

IMG_1270I normally don't blog on demand but when I have 2 requests for a specific topic, that represents over half my audience so, I must bend to the will of the people. Here we go... That's right ladies, now there are 2 hairless men in the house.  One is needy, complains a lot, and is quite hard on the furniture. The other is a cat. Shadow is a 3 month old Sphinx and has become Emma's constant companion around the house. He's more puppy than kitten (without the barking and house training) and has integrated himself into the household nicely. As someone who had always assumed dogs were smarter, I have to say, it was kind of nice simply pointing out the litter box once (OK, maybe twice) and leaving it at that. Since Shadow is climbing onto my keyboard right now, I'll leave you with some cat typing: iovgbvvb                 zn zjsxzk, cxd
