Start Digging

This site shows you where you'd end up if you dug a hole straight through to the other side of the Earth. The bad news for most of us in the U.S. is that we'd end up in the middle of the Indian Ocean. The good news is that we'd be fairly close to Australia so I guess if you're a strong swimmer you might stand a chance.
